SEEK AND YOU SHALL FIND

Luke 11:9-10, Proverbs 24:5, Proverbs 25:2

And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. *A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength. *It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.”

One of the greatest things God wants to give you is wisdom. Wisdom is the principal thing, and God wants us to increase our desire to get wisdom, (Prov. 4:7). One of the ways God manifests His grace is by helping us know what to do in a situation. As we do it, (apply the wisdom), the power and glory of God will manifested.

If you are willing to ask God for His wisdom, He is willing to grant it to you abundantly, (James 1:5). You must then be ready to open your heart and position yourself to receive this wisdom. One way is by studying and searching for relevant knowledge. You can do this by reading books or publications, and listening to tapes (audio or video). Another way is by asking questions and seeking guidance and coaching. Ask the right questions in line with what you desire. As David kept asking about what would be given to whoever kills Goliath, Saul heard of him and sent for him, (1Sam. 17:26-31). He did not stop asking, though his brother tried to discourage him. Don’t allow your challenges make you give you up; increase your search.

Study the scriptures. Search for the revelation of Christ and God’s will concerning your life and situation. As you practice, apply, and act on your findings, you are knocking; and doors will be opened to you.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, my heart is open to receive the abundant wisdom you’re sending me now. I receive your grace to search.
