HOW MUCH HAVE YOU RECEIVED THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD?

ROMANS 5:17 (KJV, CEV)

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.) *Death ruled like a king because Adam had sinned. But that cannot compare with what Jesus Christ has done. God has been so kind to us, and he has accepted us because of Jesus. And so we will live and rule like kings.

The righteousness of God is not something we attain; it is something we receive. We receive it by our faith in Christ. We can never attain it by our works. The righteousness of God is a gift we receive. Will you like it if you give a person a gift and they don’t accept and make use of it?

One reason why many believers are not as confident as they should be about experiencing and manifesting the supernatural power of God is that they don’t feel qualified for it. They feel this way because their faith is in their works and not in what Christ has done for them. Stop living by your feelings. The promises of God cannot be received by our works; but by faith alone. The Bible says, “For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith,” (Rom. 4:13).

By the fall of man and the nature of sin which man received from Adam; the devil, sin, sickness, poverty and all kinds of evil began to dominate and reign over man. But by receiving Christ’s life and nature of righteousness, we are empowered to dominate and reign over them all. The more you receive the abundant grace of Christ and the gift of righteousness, the more you will live like the king and priest Christ has made you to be, (Rev. 5:9-10).

FAITH DECLARATION:
THROUGH CHRIST, I HAVE RECEIVED AN ABUNDANCE OF GRACE AND THE GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. I REIGN OVER THE DEVIL, SIN AND ALL EVIL.
