THE POWER OF UNDERSTANDING THE LOVE AND GRACE OF GOD (2)

Ephesians 3:17, Romans 8:37-39
“That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, *Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God…”

Apart from having a strong desire to please God, another thing our understanding of the love and grace of God does for us, is it produces faith and confidence in us, in all areas of our lives.

As you grow in your confidence of the great love God has for you, you will have more confidence and boldness when you pray. You will be confident of God’s commitment to give you what you’re asking for, even more than an earthly parent will do for their child, (Matt. 7:7-11). In addition to this, even in the midst of challenges, your consciousness of the love of God makes you unshakeable and victorious. God wants us to get to that point where there is no situation that can make us doubt His love and commitment to our lives.

Our knowledge of the love and grace of God fills us and makes us experience God’s fullness in every area of our lives, (Eph.3:19). John 1:16 (GNB) says “Out of the fullness of his grace he has blessed us all, giving us one blessing after another.” The love of God also causes the power and the gifts of the Spirit to flow from us to bless the lives of others, (1Cor.12:31 – 1Cor.13). As we grow in our understanding of the love and grace of God, it will be easier for us to reflect that love to others, and it will be easier for us to overcome evil good, (Rom.12:20-21).

P R A Y E R:
Father, I thank you that the revelation of your love and grace is making me more loving and more victorious in all areas of my life.
