SPEAK WHAT YOU ARE HEARING

1KINGS 18:1, 41-42 And it came to pass …, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth. *And Elijah said unto Ahab, Get thee up, eat and drink; for there is a sound of abundance of rain. *So Ahab went up to eat and to drink. And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel, and he cast himself down upon the earth, and put his face between his knees

It’s not enough for you to hear the sound, or have an assurance in your spirit, of the manifestation of the glory of Christ and the promises of God in your life. You need to speak what you are hearing.

God told Moses to say to the Israelites, “As truly as I live, saith the LORD, as ye have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you.” Jesus said, “You shall have whatever you say,” (Mark 11:23). Stop saying what you are feeling, or seeing, or what everybody around you is saying. Say what God is saying about your life and situation, (Job 22:29). Say what God is saying about you in Christ. God has said so many wonderful things about you, so that you may boldly say them, (Heb. 13:5-6). “Glorious things are spoken of thee, O city of God. Selah,” (Psa. 87:3).

Everything has ears and can respond to your words. When God wanted to create sea creatures and land animals, He spoke to the waters and the earth, (Gen. 1:20, 24). When God asked Ezekiel if the dry bones could live again, Ezekiel said “Lord, thou knowest,” and God said speak to them. As Ezekiel prophesied as He was commanded, the bones started coming together, (Ezek. 37:3-7). The angels of God are waiting for you to give voice to God’s word, so they can hearken and swiftly carry it out in your life, (Psa. 103:20).

ACTION POINT:

OPEN YOUR MOUTH AND SPEAK BOLDLY INTO YOUR LIFE, FAMILY, BUSINESS, ACADEMICS, MINISTRY AND THE REST OF THE YEAR.
