AS GOD MADE YOU RIGHTEOUS….

Colossians 2:12-15 (NLT)
…you were buried with Christ …And with him, you were raised to new life …. God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins.  He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. In this way, he disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.

As God was making you righteous, by raising you from the dead as a saint with Christ, God was destroying every power the devil and all principalities and powers had over you, (Heb. 2:14-15).

Jesus did not only destroy the old you who was a sinner; by His cross, Jesus has destroyed every guilty evidence against you. He canceled them and took them away forever. The devil has nothing with which to accuse you before God anymore, (Rev. 12:10). But when you are ignorant of this, the devil will come to accuse you in your mind to make you feel guilty and non-deserving of God’s glory, power and blessings. When you accept his accusation, you become afraid, timid and unable to approach God with faith and boldness, therefore unable to do exploits.

Romans 8:33-34 (NLT) says, “Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? No one—for God himself has given us the right to stand with Himself. Who then will condemn us? No one—for Christ Jesus died for us and was raised to life for us, and he is sitting in the place of honor at God’s right hand, pleading for us.” Your deep consciousness of this makes you stand before God without any sense of guilt and condemnation.

Prayer:
Father, I thank you that as you were making me righteous, you destroyed every power and accusation the devil had against me
