BLESSED ARE THOSE WHO ARE NOT OFFENDED BY ME

MARK 4:17B, MATTHEW 11:3 & 6 (KJV, TPT) …when affliction or persecution ariseth for the word’s sake, immediately they are offended. *Jesus answered … Go and shew John again those things which ye do hear and see…. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. *Jesus answered … “Give John this report….And tell John that the blessing of heaven comes upon those who never lose their faith in me—no matter what happens!”

Things that will make you offended are bound to happen, but you can choose to either get offended or not. Even if you get offended, don’t get offended at God. What God wants you to do in such times, is to focus on Christ to get your victory over that situation. When you get offended by God, you open the doors of your life and allow what you are going through to influence you negatively. That’s when you truly become caged and limited. You cut yourself out of the grace and blessings He has for you. Because the people in Jesus’ hometown were offended by him, Jesus could not do mighty works there, (Mark 6:1-6).

When we lose sight of the grace of God, bitterness springs up in our hearts and it stirs up troubles in our lives, (Heb. 12:15).

Imagine what we may have missed if Paul refused to write the letters he wrote from prison, which formed two-thirds of the New Testament scriptures today. Imagine what would have happened if Joseph became offended by God while in Potiphar’s house or the prison. This is why the devil wants you to be offended. Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego said, “Our God is able to save us, but even if He does not save us, we would not bow to this your god,” (Dan. 3:16-18). Their faith did not go unrewarded. I see Jesus doing mighty works in your life.

FAITH DECLARATION:

NO SITUATION CAN MAKE ME OFFENDED BY GOD. AS I KEEP MY FAITH IN GOD, I WILL OVERCOME THE SITUATION.
