GOD IS CALLING YOUR NAME
Mark 16:6-7 (LITV), Exodus 33:17
“…Do not be amazed. You seek Jesus the Nazarene who has been crucified. He was raised. He is not here. See the place where they put Him? But go, say to the disciples and Peter, He goes before you into Galilee. You will see Him there, even as He told you. *And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.”
You are very dear and special to God. You are not a statistic. God knows your name and He calls you by name. He relates with you as an individual and He knows every single detail about you. That’s why the very heads of your head are all numbered (not just counted) – Matt. 10:30. God wants to perfect all that concerns you, (Psa.138:8). He wants to have a strong and personal relationship with you. He wants you to always come boldly to His throne of grace, (Heb.4:16). He is never irritated by your presence. He loves you and He likes you. It is because of you He neither sleeps nor slumbers. God is thinking about you, (Jer. 29:11, Psa.139:17-18). He is rejoicing over you with singing, (Zeph. 3:17).
After Peter denied Jesus three times, he may have been having doubts about whether or not he would still be accepted as a disciple. Through the angel, God told the women who came to the tomb to tell the disciples and Peter to meet Jesus in Galilee.
No matter what may have happened and what you may have gone through, God is calling your name. God has not given up on you. He wants you to rise and move forward with His will and plan for your life. Like Peter, God is going to use you to do great exploits.
P R A Y E R:
Dear Father, I thank you for the great and special love you have for me. I yield myself to you and your great plans for my life.
