TEXT: Hebrews sl1:32-35 (GNB)

INTRODUCTION:
The heroes of faith mentioned in Hebrews 11 exemplify the power of faith to accomplish extraordinary feats. Their exploits serve as a testament to the supernatural potential of faith in God.

STUDY:

  1. The Supernatural Nature of Faith:
Faith in Christ is not ordinary; it is a supernatural substance that enables
believers to experience and manitest the supernatural in their lives (Hebrews 1 l:1).
. The faith demonstrated by the heroes of the Old Testament was grounded in God’s promises, and it empowered them to achieve great exploits despite their weaknesses (Hebrews 11:23-26).
  2. God’s Work Through Faithful Servants:
  • The exploits of faith recorded in Hebrews 11 were not accomplished solely by human effort; rather, it was God working through His faithful servants (Daniel 6:22).
  • Just as God worked in and through the heroes of faith in the Old Testament, He desires to work in and through believers today to
accomplish His purposes and bring glory to His name (John 14:10).
  1. Embracing the Call to Great Exploits:
  • As recipients of God’s promises fulfilled in Christ, believers are empowered to do even greater exploits than those of the Old Testament
heroes (Acts 1 3:32-34). God desires to use believers to impact nations and
generations with the Gospel, demonstrating His power and glory through their lives (Matthew 28:19-20).

CONCLUSION:
The exploits of faith recorded din Scripture serve as an inspiration and challenge for believers to walk in supernatural faith and accomplish great things for God’s kingdom.
