Isaiah 54:2-3 (NKJV) “Enlarge the place of your tent, and it them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; Do not spare; Lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes. For you shall expand to the right and to the left, and your descendants will inherit the nations, and make the desolate cities inhabited.

Luke 5:4 (LB) When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Now go out where it is deeper and let down your nets and you will catch a lot of fish!”

The God that you serve is the God of increase. He wants to increase and enlarge you on every side – from your spirit, to your soul, to your health, to your finances, to your family and relationships, to your education, business and career, to your ministry and to all the works of your hands, your influence and every area of your life. In 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, Apostle Paul made it clear that it is God that gives increase. Promotion comes form Him, Psa. 75:6-7. Your help does not come from the hills, it comes form Him, Psa. 121:1-2. So put your trust in God, focus on Him to manifest His glory.

Our God does not give increase according to the physical and external conditions around us, to the opinions and expectations of others or even based on our own qualifications. Rather, He grants us increase according to His word and by His grace. That is why even after Abraham and Sarah had passed the age of child birth, they conceived and gave birth according to God’s word to them. Right when others are saying there is a casting down, your God will be lifting you up, Job 22:29. Your past good or bad experience does not matter to God. His word to you right now is what matters. Right now, God is saying that by the virtue of what Christ has done for you on the cross, you are experiencing healing, growth, productivity, fruitfulness, enlargement and abundance in that area of your life. So start preparing yourself for it – beginning with your spirit and your mind. See it and praise and thank God, Rom. 4:20. Start following His leading.

Prayer Focus:

Rejoice in the increase that is coming into your life because of Christ. Receive God’s grace to adequately prepare for it.

Bible in one year reading plan: 2 Kings 19-21, John 4:1-30.
