“Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee” (Isaiah 26:3).

If we live by our emotions, we’re in constant danger of letting them sweep us away and destroy our peace of mind. Focusing on Christ, instead of how we may feel at the moment, protects our peace.
