“What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?” (Romans 6:1, 2).

We become new creatures in Christ at the point of salvation. As born-again Christians who are dead to sin, we have the Holy Spirit dwelling within us; He helps us overcome the temptation to sin.
