“So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus” (Romans 8:1, NLT).

Trying to follow the law through rule-keeping always ends in failure; guilt, shame, and self-condemnation are the results. Jesus went to the cross to destroy condemnation; when we’re in Him, we’re delivered from this destructive emotion.
