TOPIC: Testimony – A Trigger For Further Works Of God (Seeds Of Destiny 15 February 2025)

SCRIPTURE: Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Psalm 150:1-2.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Sharing the testimonies of what God has done before in your life lays the foundation for more of His works in your life.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2024 MESSAGE:

It has been confirmed in Scripture that giving testimonies of God’s works triggers further works of God in one’s life. Sharing the testimonies of what God has done before in your life lays the foundation for more of His works in your life. This is what David understood that gave him an edge over others in his days. When he was confronted with Goliath, Saul told him that he was not able to defeat Goliath. But instead of giving up, David began to recount the testimonies of how God previously delivered him from a lion and a bear. He knew that the same God who had delivered him from the lion and the bear would not only deliver him from Goliath but would also enable him to defeat Goliath. David understood that giving testimonies of what God has done in your life before sets the stage for what God will do again.

Today, many people who were beneficiaries of God’s acts in the past usually fail to declare them to others. And by keeping silent, they hinder God from doing more in their lives. That was what happened when Jesus healed ten lepers, and only one came back to praise God. And do you know that it was that one leper who returned to appreciate God that received wholeness of life? The other nine were merely cleansed but not made whole; he was both cleansed and made whole from all the ravages of leprosy. He received both healing and the restoration of his body to its original state. Unlike David, many people in our world today ask God for deliverance from Goliath but fail to acknowledge and testify about their past deliverances from the lions and the bears. Beloved don’t be like this kind of people because if you forget God’s past benefits in your life, you will forfeit His future benefits to you.

Remember this: Sharing the testimonies of what God has done before in your life lays the foundation for more of His works in your life.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Do not deprive yourself of the acts of God in your life by hiding what He did for you in the past.
2. Boldly declare God’s Works in the congregation of the saints.

PRAYER: Father, I refuse to deprive myself of Your Works in life. I shall continue to testify of Your faithfulness and goodness in my life, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
