SCRIPTURE: He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy. Proverb 28:13.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: Every secret sin unrepentant of, always has an open disgraceful consequence.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

Many years ago, I heard the story of a young man who decided to commit immorality with someone’s wife.

This young man was single at the time. Unfortunately, he fell into sin and slept with another man’s wife.

Do you know what happened?

When he got to his place of work the next day, he was given a sack letter. He lost his job.
You see, no one was there when he committed the immorality. No one in his office knew about it.

In fact, he did it quietly and privately, but in the realm of the spirit, it was an attack on his destiny.

He was given a sack letter without any explanation.
Beloved, the lesson here is, the sin you commit in the secret brings shame and disgrace to you in the open if it is unrepentant of. Every secret sin, unrepentant of, always has an open disgraceful consequence.

When satan stood before Joshua the high priest to resist him, one thing satan was resisting was the destiny and ministry of Joshua.

Satan stood to resist the priesthood of Joshua; he stood to resist the priestly functions of Joshua because of Joshua’s filthy garment.

Please, always know that your destiny is at the mercy of the garment you are putting on.
Your ministry and your destiny on earth are at the mercy of the kind of garment you are putting on. If you are putting on a filthy garment, it is impossible to fulfil your destiny. You can ask Samson, Judas Iscariot, and Gehazi if you doubt this.

What is my counsel to you?
Flee from sin. Flee from all forms of iniquity because sin destroys your life and destiny. A filthy garment hinders you from fulfilling God’s Purpose for your life.

REMEMBER THIS: Every secret sin, unrepentant of, committed always has an open disgraceful consequence.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Refuse to indulge in all forms of secret sin.
2. Make up your mind to live right whether in private or in public.

PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from secrets sins that can bring public disgrace and embarrassment to me. I ask that You clothe me afresh with the garment of holiness, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
