SCRIPTURE: Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. John 15:3

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: As you get deeper into the Word, purity or sanctity begins to be birthed in you.

Seeds Of Destiny For Today 2024 MESSAGE:

It has been established that many good things happen to people when they study the Word of God on a consistent basis. I will highlight a few in our study today.

Christian books

1. Impurity or immorality begins to die.

As you get deeper into the Word, purity or sanctity begins to be birthed in you (John 15:3). All the negative desires and appetite begin to die, because the nature of God is the nature of purity and sanctity.

2. Haughtiness and arrogance begin to die.

When you get deeper into God and His Word, the spirit of pride, arrogance and haughtiness begin to die. This is so because, any time you see God’s Almightiness, you must see your nothingness. When you see Him clearly, out of His Word, you will realise that you are nothing irrespective of what you think you have achieved in life. Remember, it was pride that brought Lucifer down (Isaiah 14:12-16).

3. Hypocrisy and insincerity begin to die.

Many people tell lies with their mouth, and with their life. Their life is just a lie. That is, they do not only tell lies; they themselves are living a lie.

But when you encounter the Way, the Truth, and the Life (John 14:6), it becomes natural for you to live the truth and tell the truth.

When some people are about to marry, they tell a lot of lies. It is after they get married that their real person will appear. Nobody having such a nature can enter Kingdom of heaven by mistake. Beloved, this is my counsel to you: allow the Word of God to change your life.

Remember this: As you get deeper into the Word, purity or sanctity begins to be birthed in you.

ASSIGNMENT:

1. Make up your mind to give full attention to the Word of God.
2. Let the Word dwell in you so it can change your life from within.

PRAYER: Father, I bring myself under the influence of Your Word. Let Your Word transform my life inside-out so I can impact my generation positively for Your Kingdom, Lord, in Jesus’ Name.
