Don’t Vote Against God
“Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.” 1 John 2:15
American Christians need to take action and stand for truth. This nation is diminishing because God’s truths are becoming blurred and compromised. We need to be clear that we stand by the word of God! First, we should never vote for a leader who is anti-Israel. Genesis 12:3 says, “I will bless those who bless you, Israel. I will curse those who curse you. And out of you shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.” Jesus himself was a Jew. America has been blessed because we have blessed the nation of Israel.
Secondly, we should vote for Capitalism over Socialism. The Bible teaches that we don’t reward people who won’t work. Of course, there are exceptions, such as the elderly, poor, and needy. But the Bible never rewards laziness. This can be seen in the parable of the Talents. The worker who multiplied his talent was commended, and the one who hid his talent in the ground and did nothing was reprimanded, being called “Lazy and wicked.” Capitalism encourages creativity, innovation, dreams, prosperity, and the freedom to do and be what you want to be. Socialism makes people a number. People are not encouraged to climb higher because everyone is paid the same. Without capitalism, many of the inventions and discoveries that we have today would never have been realized. Many medicines, airplanes, and cars have come out of a Capitalist nation. Socialism stifles creativity and growth. Socialism would also stifle Christianity in America. We cannot allow Socialism to take over our country!
Thirdly, we must not vote for a leader who is in favor of killing unborn babies. There are governors in America today who are pushing not only for third-trimester abortions but for it to be legal to kill a baby born alive, should the abortion not work. This is flat-out murder and should not be tolerated by the church. Lastly, we must not put a leader in power who is trying to target our children’s identities. The LGBTQ agenda would have your children confused about whether they are male or female. As the church, we love everyone and offer grace and support to those struggling with the temptations of these sins, but it is not love to tell a man that it is okay for him to marry another man. In Genesis, God established the family unit as male and female and distinctively created their anatomic structures to reproduce and create children together. Romans 1 tells us how the end days will be, “They traded the truth about God for a lie…That is why God abandoned them to their shameful desires. Even the women turned against the natural way to have sex and instead indulged in sex with each other. And the men, instead of having normal sexual relations with women, burned with lust for each other. Men did shameful things with other men, and as a result of this sin, they suffered within themselves the penalty they deserved.” The spirit of the antichrist is taking over our nation.
In Joshua 7, the Lord says to Joshua, “Stand up! What are you doing down on your face?” Joshua’s nation (Israel) had committed sin against God and was going downhill fast. But God told Joshua that He still had a good future planned for Israel. He told him to help the people repent and come back to Him. God still has a plan for America, but God’s people must let their voices be heard.
