Don’t Miss The Moment

“Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest. Just as you cannot understand the path of the wind or the mystery of a tiny baby growing in its mother’s womb, so you cannot understand the activity of God, who does all things.” Ecclesiastes 11:4-5

Never turn down an opportunity because you feel you’re not qualified, talented, or gifted enough. Go on and let that opportunity stretch you. You don’t know what’s in you or what you’re capable of.  If you would just allow God to give you faith and courage to stretch outside of your comfort zone, you will see amazing things begin to happen in your life.

Some of you have not fulfilled your purpose because you keep shrinking back because of fear. Fortunately, that’s the very place where God wants to meet you with His supernatural power.

In the story of Moses, God told him to “stretch out his staff” when the Egyptians were closing in, and the Red Sea was in front of him. And when he stretched out his staff, the sea parted. But the miracle was in the stretching of Moses’ faith. Moses had faith that said, “This is scary. This is uncomfortable. This is pressure. This is tense. But here I go; I’m going for it.” And when he did, God performed a miracle.

In Matthew 12:13, Jesus went to the temple and encountered a man with a withered hand. Jesus gave this simple command: “Stretch forth your hand.” Even though the man knew this to be an impossible task, he attempted it anyway, and when he activated his faith, he was able to do what he had never done before.

You may feel limited today because of a stronghold or habit that is crippling you. God wants to deliver you from what you’re ashamed of. If there’s an addiction or bondage in your life, stretch for the help that Jesus has waiting for you. He can deal with your issue. He doesn’t want you to shrink back in shame. He wants you to be free. He wants you to live your best life.

Don’t miss the moment, pray this prayer of faith:

“Dear Jesus, forgive me for turning down opportunities because I trust my abilities and not your power. Make me bold and courageous. Please deliver me from any sinful habits or addictions. I lay them down at your feet and choose to believe for a better life, a life that only you can give. Thank you for everything that you are doing in me. Amen.”
