Your Safe Place

Today’s Scripture

Psalm 31:8, NLT

You have not handed me over to my enemies but have set me in a safe place.

Today’s Word

King Saul had been trying to capture David in the wilderness for years and finally was closing in. But just as Saul was about to attack, a messenger delivered an urgent message, saying, “Saul, hurry home. The Philistines are attacking our land.” Saul and his men turned around and left, and they never did capture David. God knows how to keep you in a safe place. Even when it looks like it’s too late, He knows how to distract your enemies. He knows how to change people’s plans, how to turn the trouble, the sickness, or the opposition around. 

We all have things trying to stop our destiny, but God has put you in a safe place. You may have difficulties in your health, your finances, or your marriage. You could live worried, but when you know you’re in a safe place, where God has you hidden, you can live in peace. When trouble comes, you don’t fall apart or give up on your dreams. You know God has made you invisible to the enemy. 

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You that no matter what challenge I face, I can stay in peace, knowing that You have a safe place for me. Thank You that You can turn every situation around and help me move forward. I declare that You are my hiding place. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
