You Don’t Have to Live with It

Today’s Scripture

Now the LORD had said to Moses in Midian, “Go back to Egypt, for all those who wanted to kill you are dead.”

Exodus 4:19, NIV

Today’s Word

When Moses was a young man, he made the mistake of killing an Egyptian man who was mistreating a Hebrew slave and had to flee to the wilderness. For forty years, I’m sure he thought he’d made too many mistakes and missed his destiny. Then God came to Moses, told him to return to Egypt and tell Pharaoh to let the Israelites go, and reassured him that his enemies were dead. We can all look back and see mistakes we’ve made, things we should have done better. It was our fault. We think we just have to live with it. But God is saying, “I’ve already taken care of your mistakes, defeated what should have stopped you, and moved the wrong people out of the way.” Your mistakes did not stop your purpose. Don’t sit on the sidelines of life thinking you can’t fulfill your destiny. This is a new day. God has forgiven your sins. He has mercy for your mistakes. The enemy is defeated. Your part is to go after your dreams. Take possession of what God promised you.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You that You have dealt with my past mistakes and defeated what should keep me defeated. Thank You that I don’t have to just learn to live with it or put up with it. I declare that all of these challenges have been defeated and I am going after my dreams. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
