The Enemy Will Pay

Today’s Scripture

“Moreover, I hereby decree that you are to help these elders of the Jews as they rebuild this Temple of God. You must pay the full construction costs, without delay, from my taxes collected in the province west of the Euphrates River so that the work will not be interrupted.”

Ezra 6:8, NLT

Today’s Word

For sixteen years, the local enemies of Judah had been able to halt the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. But when these same enemies petitioned the king of Persia for a second time, the king discovered the truth about the rebuilding in the archives. He told the opposing officials to not only allow the rebuilding, but that they must pay for the full construction costs out of their taxes as well as provide the food and provisions every day. God made the enemy pay for their opposition. You will face challenges, criticism, and setbacks in accomplishing the promises God puts in your heart. There will be times of silence when you don’t see anything improving. But God is not only going to still make His promises happen, there’s also going to be supernatural provision, supernatural healing, and supernatural favor. God is about to show you why it hasn’t worked out yet. He’s going to make the enemy pay. People who don’t even like you will help push you into your destiny. You’re going to know it was the hand of God.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You that there is a purpose for whatever opposition comes my way, and You only allow what You know will work for my good. Thank You that You will bring Your promises to pass with supernatural provision. I believe that You will make the enemy pay. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”Archive
