Surpassing Greatness

Today’s Scripture

Ephesians 2:7, ESV …so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. Today’s Word God took David, a shepherd boy, from a low-income family and turned him into a king. He gave Abraham and Sarah a baby when they were almost a hundred years old. He healed my mother from terminal cancer when the doctors said there was no chance. He gave us the Compaq Center when all the odds were against us. He has things in your future that will amaze you.

The apostle Paul says that in the ages to come, God wants to show us the surpassing greatness of His favor. We are living in that time. God has “far-and-beyond favor” for you, favor that you’ve never seen. But is limited thinking keeping God from pouring out the fullness of what He has for you? Are you missing out on breakthroughs, healing, and new relationships? Why don’t you get a new mind-set? God wants to show you the surpassing greatness of His favor. Don’t go another day with low expectations. Have a bigger vision. Get your hopes up. You have to give God permission to bless you.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You for the immeasurable riches of Your grace and the supply of everything I need in this life. Thank You that I can take the limits off my thinking because of Your far-and-beyond favor. I open my heart to You and ask You to increase my capacity to receive the fullness of what You have for me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
