Faith Partners

Today’s Scripture

Colossians 3:16, NIV

Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.

Today’s Word

The Scripture is filled with faith partners—Moses and Joshua, Naomi and Ruth, Paul and Timothy, Aquila and Priscilla. In difficult times, it’s so important who you’re allowing to speak into your life. When the battle is raging, you can’t afford to have negative voices who cause you to doubt. Don’t spend your time with people who drain your faith.  
 
What you really need is people who will release their faith for you. A faith partner is someone who knows that God is on the throne, that He’s fighting your battles, that He has the final say. He or she is someone who increases your faith, inspires you to believe, and comes into agreement with what you know God placed in your heart. They speak light into the darkness, healing into the sickness, abundance into the lack, and freedom into the addiction. They look beyond the natural and believe for the supernatural. When you come into agreement with them, based on what God promised, your combined faith becomes more than enough. You’ll see the Most High God go to work. 

Prayer for Today

Father, thank You for making it so clear that I need to be careful about the people I’m allowing to speak into my life. Help me to find some faith partners with whom I should connect and help them to find me as well. I want people in my life who I can join my faith with and see You go to work. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
