Clear Vision

…the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling.

Ephesians 1:18, NKJV

Today’s Word

What would happen if you started seeing yourself for who you really are, as a child of the Most High God? The apostle Paul prayed for us that our vision, the eyes of our understanding, would be clear. We were created to reign in life, to be healthy, strong, confident, valuable, to accomplish dreams. We have greatness in us, but sometimes we’re not seeing our gifts and potential because our vision is limited. Negative images—disappointments, bad breaks, past mistakes—are clouding our vision from seeing ourselves the way God sees us. We have to clear out whatever is hindering our vision.

What image do you have of yourself, your family, your finances, your future? This is a new day. Clear out the inferiority, the bitterness, the mediocrity, what people have said. Clear out the past guilt and shame. Nothing that’s happened to you has stopped God’s purpose for your life. Start seeing yourself as worthy, as forgiven, as a child of God. As your vision clears, you’ll start moving into the new levels of favor and blessing that belong to you.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You that I can begin to see myself the way You see me, as blessed, prosperous, healthy, strong, talented, and successful. Help me to clear out the negative images and get the fresh, new vision in. I believe that my vision will become a reality. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
