According to Your Faith

Today’s Scripture

Then he touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith let it be done to you”; and their sight was restored.

Matthew 9:29–30, NIV

Today’s Word

In Matthew 9, Jesus asked two blind men, “Do you believe that I am able to heal you?” They replied, “Yes, Lord.” Jesus responded that it was according to their faith that the healing came and opened the door to their amazing futures. That tells me that what God wants to do for us and where He wants to take us is going to take more than average faith. The doors He’s going to open for you, and the favor you’re going to see, won’t happen with ordinary faith. There will be dreams that are way too big for you. There will be Goliaths where you won’t stand a chance. You’re going to have to get in agreement with what God says and stop limiting Him by small thinking.  Sometimes the reason we’re not seeing favor, healing, or promotion is not because God is limited, but because our faith is limiting Him. Why don’t you step up today and stretch your faith, get out of your comfort zone, and believe for something bigger? When you do, you’ll see the greatness of our God.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You for the power of faith that is released when I simply say, ‘Yes, Lord. I believe You are able.’ Thank You that what You want to do for me and where You want to take me is so much greater than I’ve dreamed. I am believing that I will see Your greatness today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
