Today’s Scripture

Joshua 10:11, NLT

The hail killed more of the enemy than the Israelites killed with the sword.

Today’s Word

In Joshua 10, five enemy kings saw how powerful and favored the Israelites were in coming into the Promised Land, so they put down their dislikes for one another and formed a huge united army. They thought Joshua would back down, but Joshua had God’s word to attack, and his army routed the enemy. Those of the enemy who would have escaped were killed when God rained down hail upon them.

There are times when it seems as though difficulties mount up together to defeat us. Sometimes people will be so against you that they’ll join forces with others to try to make you look bad. Don’t worry, because they can’t stand against our God. If you keep declaring His promises, speaking what He says to you, God will send the hailstorm. He’ll step in and do what you can’t do. The enemy will be defeated, doors will open, and addictions will be broken. Negative situations are about to turn around, breakthroughs are coming, healing, promotion, the right people, new levels of your destiny.

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that when the odds are against me, You are for me. Thank You that nothing and no one is more powerful than You, and I can dare to stay in the battle knowing that victory is coming. I believe that You are going to show out in my life as You did with Joshua. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
