Tell Yourself the Truth

Today’s Scripture

Psalm 139:14, NIV 

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

Today’s Word

The problem with some people is they let people label them, tell them what they’re not, and what they can’t do. They allow circumstances, mistakes, and disappointments to define them as unforgiven, unworthy, washed up, having no future. They’ve listened to the wrong voices so long that they don’t know who they really are. If you let these voices play, it will keep you from your destiny. You have to start saying what God says about you. “I’m forgiven. I’m redeemed. I’m restored. My past is over, and my future is bright.” 

Don’t repeat the negative things people have said about you or let the negative labels stick to you. Rather, get in agreement with God and say what God says about you, and you will activate what He put inside. He calls you a masterpiece. He says you’ve been fearfully and wonderfully made. When you say you will be mighty in the land, more than a conqueror, strong, confident, approved, and valuable, that’s when you’ll step up to be who God created you to be.  

Prayer for Today

“Father, thank You that the truth is that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Thank You that I am not all the negatives that I have been labeled with. I believe that nothing can hold me back from becoming the masterpiece that You created me to be. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.”
