The seed is the Word of God. Those by the wayside are those that hear; then the devil comes and takes away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved. Satan’s Plan For Unbelievers Is To Snatch The Gospel Seed Away Before It Can Take Root.
Satan’s objective is to damn the soul of every man on earth. The Bible says, “He that believeth hath life and he that believeth not is damned already.”
When the gospel seed is sown in the church by the pastor, shared on the streets, or in the home, Satan does everything within his power to snatch the seed of the Word away before it can take root in the heart.
He purposes to blind the mind of the unbeliever from the gospel. Don’t ever forget it…Satan is into mind control. Paul wrote, “But if the gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. In whom the god of this world Satan has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto us.”
