Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He saved them out of their distresses. He sent His word and healed them, and he delivered them from their destructions.
The word of God is a miracle book. When you read the gospel of Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John, it will give you a new nature and give you a new vocabulary. It has the power to break the fetters of sin. It delivers from fear of death and gives a hope that is sure.
The authority of this Word gives you the authority as a believer to live in victory on this Earth. What you win on Earth is bound in heaven; what you loose on earth is loosed in heaven (Matthew 18:18). You have the authority to cast out demons “with a word” (Matthew 8:16). You have the authority to stand in the evil day and win (Ephesians 6:13)! You can do what this book says you can do. You are what this book says you are! You are a child of the King and your sins have been forgiven and buried in the deepest sea. The Word of God endures forever!
