The MESSAGE:
There are many areas of deliverance to be looked into. Today, we are looking at the deliverance of the mind. Many years ago, I went to a university to minister in their campus fellowship. As I got there, I could feel that the place was charged by the Holy Ghost. Then all of a sudden, a prophecy came that there was a man in that meeting who had just committed fornication and that if he did not come out for prayers, he would die within seven days.

There was a dead silence. Then suddenly, a man crawled out. I asked him when he committed the atrocity and he said exactly an hour earlier. Then as I was about to say close your eyes and let us pray, he said something that shocked me. He said he was forced into it. I was surprised because although that was a University, I have never in my life heard that a man was raped, but the truth is that it existed in his thoughts.
That is why the Bible says that it is not until you drag a person to bed before you commit adultery with her; immediately you x-ray the man or woman in your mind’s eye, the Bible says you are already guilty.
Thought deliverance is difficult but achievable through the power in the blood of Jesus. The devil is after our minds like no man’s business because, he knows that out of it are the issues of life. If there is one pass mark that the devil has, it is that he is extremely good at throwing evil suggestions into people’s hearts. Today’s passage reiterates the fact that the human mind is the center of life. Your thought patterns as well as the state of your mind have great consequences on your destiny. You must keep your heart with all diligence.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- Let all those collaborating with evil forces against me be roasted by the fire of God, in the name of Jesus.
- Every instrument of bewitchment set in motion against me, be roasted, in the name of Jesus.
- Any dark power trying to attack me to get promotion, fall down and die, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- I dethrone all the foreign kings and queens reigning over my life, in the name of Jesus.
- I overthrow the authority of the powers of darkness, in the name of Jesus.
- I pull down every tree not planted by my Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus.
- Let my names be removed from the list and books of failures, backwardness and poverty, in the name of Jesus.
