TOPIC: Rewards Of Faith (IV) (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 16 January 2022)

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Genesis 32, Genesis 33, Matthew 12:22-45, Proverbs 2:1-11

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Hebrews 11:23-31 (KJV)

23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment.

24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter;

25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.

28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.

29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.

30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed about seven days.

31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace.

MEMORY VERSE: “But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.” – Psalms 5:11

MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
Blessed is anyone who believes that there will be a fulfilment of what had been spoken to him or her by the Lord.

PRAISE & WORSHIP

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
TODAY, I DECREE THAT POWERS THAT WANT YOUR FAITH TO FAIL SHALL BE DISGRACED, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

Mountain Top Life MESSAGE:

Faith cannot and should not be taken out of the spiritual equation, journey and life of a believer. The reason is that without faith, he cannot walk with God successfully nor praise Him. Therefore, the believer needs to demonstrate living faith in God whatever the situation may be.

Another reward of faith is that it gives the believer deep spiritual understanding. The Bible states in Hebrews 11:3, “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.” Your access to understanding will make you a fulfilled believer. That is why the Bible admonishes, “And with all thy getting, get understanding” (Proverbs 4:7).

Today, the world is bedeviled by various forms of danger and it has become clear that only those who have the Almighty God as their Refuge, Rock, Fortress and Strong Tower are truly safe. The promise of our holy and faithful God to His children is that He will keep them as the apple of His eye and hide them under the shelter of His wings. Beloved, it is your faith in God that makes it possible for you to enjoy this great promise of God’s unfailing protection. The Bible says that the fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe (Proverbs 29:25). The word of God also affirms that every word of God is pure. He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him (Proverbs 30:5). I encourage you to have an unwavering and courageous trust in God and no evil will befall you.

Beloved, walk by faith and not by sight this year. The Bible says that “By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she had received the spies with peace” (Hebrews 11:31). Your faith in God will shield and shelter you from the evils and perils that the enemy is unleashing against mankind in these last days, in the name of Jesus.
