1 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
2 Deliver me in thy righteousness, and cause me to escape: incline thine ear unto me, and save me.
3 Be thou my strong habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.
4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
5 For thou art my hope, O Lord God: thou art my trust from my youth.

MFM Devotional For Today 2024 MESSAGE:
I have some hard facts to share with you today. Sometime ago, I met an old classmate of over twenty years. We sat down and started reminiscing about our other classmates. As we went through their names, we discovered that some of them had turned out very well in their chosen fields. The lives of many, however, could not be reconciled with the fact that we began together, studied together under the same roof, were taught by the same teachers and shared the same hopes of a bright future. The stories of other classmates that my classmate told me were heart- breaking. The story of Jacob and Esau also confirms such divergences of destinies as common with people who share identical beginnings. The story of Esau and Jacob clearly portrays the problems of tragic destinies. Beloved, the story of these two brothers may appear remote. However, the truth is that each of us has a personal Esau to struggle with. Who is your personal Esau? A personal Esau is a reality that you cannot run away from but you have to face with serious prayers.
When sprinters line up for a hundred-metres dash, they leave the starting point at the same time; they will not get to the finishing line at the same time. Some may even fall on the way and not finish the race. That is the hard fact about human destinies. The key to averting destiny tragedy is to be born again. Anyone who is not born again is vulnerable to the devil and his works. The security of the person’s destiny is not guaranteed. Only God, the owner of your destiny, can guard and see to its fulfilment.
Hard as they tried, the devil and all the hosts of hell could not truncate the destiny of Jesus because He was resolutely committed to the will and work of His Father. Besides, Jesus knew His purpose. He said, “For this purpose was I born and for this cause came I into the world.” Do you know your purpose? Do not behave like Samson who knew his purpose and assignment but allowed the flesh to destroy them. I pray that no matter what the devil does, you will not suffer destiny tragedy, in the name of Jesus.
PRAYER POINTS:
MORNING
- By the power in the blood of Jesus, I overcome destiny tragedy, in the name of Jesus.
- I prophesy deliverance and freedom upon my life, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, I declare Your Lordship and sovereignty over my life and family, in the name of Jesus.
EVENING
- Every satanic hold up against my destiny, die, in the name of Jesus.
- As I go to sleep tonight, O Lord, reveal Yourself to me in a new way, in the name of Jesus.
- Father, use me to reveal and demonstrate Your wonders to the world, in the name of Jesus.
- Thou seven spirits of God, fill my life now, in the name of Jesus.
