BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Chronicles 1 -2

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Revelation 20:11-15

11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
YOU WILL NOT END UP AS AN OBJECT OF GOD’S WRATH, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.

Mountain Top Life Daily Devotional The MESSAGE:

Judgement and wrath are inevitable responses of God to the unthankful and unholy behaviour of men. God has set a time in which He will judge mankind based on their sin and rebellion against His authority and holiness. That is the day when Jesus, the Son of God will judge the living and the dead (John 5:22).

The consequences of the fall of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is that mankind became corrupted and the urge to sin began to reside in him naturally. Christ will judge every person who ever lived (Acts 10:42). The unbeliever will face the White Throne Judgement while believers will stand before Jesus (1 Corinthians 4:5). The Christian will be the first to be judged and it is going to be done on individual basis. It will be about the things done in the body which is either good or bad; the acts performed in faith and obedience, and for the glory of God (2 Corinthians 5:10). The judgement of believers is basically to assess the rewards. Every work will be tested by fire and only that which is true and enduring will survive (1 Corinthians 3:11-15).

The Great White Throne Judgement will mark the ultimate end of sin and rebellion against God’s authority and his boldness. The Scripture declares that Jesus will judge every person who every lived. The type of judgement you will face depends on which category you belong. For a true Christian, it will be a time of reward for all his deed. Friend, how is your work and walk with God? Will your work stand the test of fire?

Have you accepted Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour? If you have not, repent today so that you don’t turn out to be an object of God’s wrath.
