TOPIC: The Voice Of The Blood (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 27 August 2024)

FIRE SCRIPTURE: Genesis 4:1-11 (KJV)

1 And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.

2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.

4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering:

5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

6 And the Lord said unto Cain, Why art thou wroth? and why is thy countenance fallen?

7 If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted? and if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door. And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him.

8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him.

9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?

10 And he said, What hast thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood crieth unto me from the ground.

11 And now art thou cursed from the earth, which hath opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand;

MFM Devotional For Today 2024 MESSAGE:

Today’s discourse is a very important but serious subject that should be addressed prayerfully. I pray that the Lord will give you understanding as you read and meditate upon these verses of scripture. For those who are familiar with the ministry of deliverance, it will not be surprising to hear that the blood has a voice.

Going back to the records of the beginning in the Bible, we see the two children in the first family established by God, the family of Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel. Obviously, Cain displayed so much of negative character traits and emotions that he ended badly. He killed his own brother simply because God accepted his brother’s offering and not his. Hatred started with this family, and many more negative emotions like, self-centeredness, anger, pride, envy, jealousy, resentment and many more. Cain was so consumed with these negative attributes that he could no longer see his brother exist alongside him. The thought of murder came in, and he eventually killed his brother. God knew what was on his mind and warned him earlier about the sin that lurked around him. Cain didn’t yield to divine warning, hence became the first murderer on earth as recorded by the Bible. He shed the blood of the innocent. The blood spoke and God heard! The blood has a voice and a language that God understands. The blood has life; therefore, it is a living thing.

Just like many such offenders today who believe they could shed blood secretly or openly and get away with it, the blood will speak either instantly or much later, and the consequences of this strange speech can be transgenerational. That is why we counsel against any kind of bloodshed and the consequences under which many people are suffering today. Beloved, have you been involved in bloodshed like Cain? Is the blood of your sibling or another person, close or distant relation crying against you? Did you shed blood through other means like abortion, rape, or similar evil acts? There must be a remission and atonement of sin through the blood of Jesus. This is the blood that speaks better things than that of Abel. Without this, these consequences cannot be easily undone. It takes the super power in the blood of the Lamb of God to nullify your sins, be it conscious or unconscious, so that you would be free from the accusation of satan, our adversary and enemy number one of man.

It is compulsory that you must be a friend of God to enjoy this divine privilege. Therefore, surrender your life to Jesus if you have not yet done so. Confess your sins and repent of them before Him. Ask that the blood of Jesus atone for you and cleanse you from all guilt and evil verdict of the speaking blood. May you receive total deliverance, in the Name of Jesus.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. Father, forgive me for every sin of shedding blood in any way, in the Name of Jesus.
  2. Crying blood of my father’s house, shut up and cry no more, in the Name of Jesus.
  3. Inherited sin as a result of bloodshed, O God, arise and forgive me by the blood of Jesus.

EVENING

  1. By the mercies of God, I live above the negative consequences of the sin of bloodshed of my father’s house, in the Name of Jesus.
  2. Powers accusing me of the sins I don’t know about, the Lord rebuke you, in the Name of Jesus.
  3. By the blood of Jesus, I overcome every strange voice speaking negative things into my life, in the Name of Jesus.
  4. Blood of Jesus, speak better things to my life and overrule every negative thing, in the Name of Jesus.
