FIRE SCRIPTURE: Judges 6:1-8 (KJV)

1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.

2 And the hand of Midian prevailed against Israel: and because of the Midianites the children of Israel made them the dens which are in the mountains, and caves, and strong holds.

3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;

4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.

5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.

6 And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites; and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord.

7 And it came to pass, when the children of Israel cried unto the Lord because of the Midianites,

8 That the Lord sent a prophet unto the children of Israel, which said unto them, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, I brought you up from Egypt, and brought you forth out of the house of bondage;

MFM Devotional For Today 2023 MESSAGE:

Yesterday, we began to examine the enemies of harvest. We shall continue from there and take it further. The enemies of harvest are those who want your expectation to be cut off. They are those that are determined that where you have laboured, you will not bring anything out of there. The enemies of harvest are the powers who connive with others to deprive you of what you deserve and they stand by it and tell you to do your worst.

If a civil servant that has put in about thirty years in service suddenly dies, who will collect his entitlement? Those who did not know what he went through to get to that level will be running helter skelter to collect what he had laboured for. They may even push his family away and neglect his children. I pray that the enemies of harvest will not remove you from the scene in the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Beloved, the enemies of harvest are those powers lurking around in the corner. Immediately they see that a person’s harvest is ready, they will remove the person’s hand from it and sit on it. I pray for you today, any wicked power or personality waiting for you to sweat and suffer so that he can pounce on you to take away your result and reward shall be swallowed by a hungry grave, in the Name of Jesus.

How do you wage war against the enemy of your harvest? You must run away from sin. Judges 6:11 says, “And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord; and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian for seven years.”

You must also cry unto God for help. The Bible affirms that the Israelites cried unto God in their distress and God sent a deliverer to help them out of their travail. Another way to wage war against the enemies of your harvest is to confront them. Psalm 7:6, encourages you to tell God to lift up Himself because of the rage of your enemies.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. Let God arise and let all my enemies be scattered, in the Name of Jesus.
  2. Any power waiting to eat my sweat shall die suddenly, in the Name of Jesus.
  3. Internal bewitchment waiting to attack my harvest, come out and die, in the Name of Jesus.

EVENING

  1. I bind every strong man working against my life, in the Name of Jesus.
  2. I release myself from any satanic bondage, in the Name of Jesus.
  3. Arrow of the wasters in my body, I shake you away, in the Name of Jesus.
  4. O Lord, give me the strength and power to stand my ground in You, in the Name of Jesus.
