TOPIC: Christian Walk (Mountain Of Fire and Miracle Ministries, MFM Devotional 29 November 2021)
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Corinthians 1-4
FIRE SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?
15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?
16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.
MEMORY VERSE: “For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.” – Ephesians 5:8
MOTIVATIONAL QUOTE:
It is hard when I have to, and so easy when I want to.
PRAISE WORSHIP: Take a worship song as led by the Holy Spirit
PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY:
POWER AND GRACE TO WALK FAITHFULLY WITH GOD SHALL COME UPON YOU, IN THE NAME OF JESUS.
Mountain Top Life MESSAGE:
In our devotional today, we will look at individual walk with God as Christians. To walk with God means you are going somewhere with Him. God has given you a guide to walk with Him in His word. Around you, you have a great cloud of witnesses who have walked with God either in your community or in the word of God. To start your walk with God, you must be born again and have faith in His word. To grow in your walk with God, you need to read the Bible everyday. You must talk to Him from your heart by faith, believing He hears and sees everything going on in your heart, mind and mouth. Make sure you maintain harmony between what you think and what you say as you talk to God in all sincerity (Hebrews 4:12-13).

Be careful not to allow your flesh to go against the Spirit; let your thoughts be in line with the word of God, do not be conformed to the thoughts and ideas of this world (Romans 12:2). Endeavour to spend more time with the word of God, so that God can continue to instruct, correct and teach you. Be a doer of the word of God. Obey every command and meditate on every promise and also pray that they come to pass in your life. Make Jesus your close friend and confidant. Talk to Him as often as possible everyday. Rejoice in His presence and ask for His help anytime you have any difficulty. Also learn to fellowship with other true believers. You can ask questions and share your opinions. As this becomes part of your life, you will become more confident and happier walking with God.
Finally, be involved in God’s work. Partner with God in building His kingdom. Use the gifts, talents and resources that He has given you to serve Him and others. Make doing His will your priority everyday, no matter the cost. Befriend the Holy Spirit and follow His leading all the time. A close walk with God is both desirable and rewarding!
