John 5:26
26 For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself;

John 10:10
10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

MFM Devotional For Today 2024 MESSAGE:

Man is an eternal being made in the image and likeness of an eternal God. Man’s life on earth is a temporary adventure, a fraction of man’s overall life. The end of earthly life is the beginning of endless life in eternity. The greater part of your life will be spent in eternity, so wisdom demands that your attention should be more on eternal destination.

Life on earth is transient, however long it lasts. There is an appointed end to the brief episode of time called lifetime on earth. That is why one of the greatest achievements of anyone on earth is to come to the end of his or her life and be ready to depart the earth without regrets. The fact is that you do not have eternity to fulfil destiny. The matter of eternal life is a matter of prime importance and urgency. Many people squandered their lives on vanity and realised that when it was time to really live, there was no time to live again. The questions you should consistently ask yourself are: Do I have eternal life? Am I ready for eternity? The way I am living my life now, is Christ pleased with me? If the trumpet should sound now, where would be my eternal destination? Is it eternity in heaven with God or eternity in hell with the devil? Think about it!

Being born again is not the joining of a church or being born into a church. It is recognising that you are a sinner and that you need God’s mercy and God’s help to have eternal life.

Beloved, the one and only source of eternal life is Jesus Christ. I advise that you give your life to Him today. Also, you need to develop intimacy with Him by studying and living by His word daily as well as by living a life of purity and praying without ceasing.

PRAYER POINTS:

MORNING

  1. O Lord, I desire to make eternity with You in heaven my final destination, in the Name of Jesus.
  2. I receive the grace to live right and live ready always, Lord, in the Name of Jesus.
  3. Father, help me to be ready, in the Name of Jesus.

EVENING

  1. Lord, help me to be prepared, in the Name of Jesus.
  2. Lord, help me not to forget myself in this wicked world, in the Name of Jesus.
  3. Father, I arrest the agenda of satanic evil plague, in the Name of Jesus.
  4. I receive God’s mercy and help to live eternal life, in the Name of Jesus.
