TOPIC: Radiant Look [Open Heaven for Teens 11 April 2021]

READ: Exodus 34:29-33
- And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses’ hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses wist not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
- And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
- And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.
- And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.
- And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 1 Samuel 7-9, Luke 13:1-35
MESSAGE:
When Moses went to the mountain to meet with God for forty days, he didn’t know that any significant thing had happened to him until he descended and the Israelites couldn’t look at his face because it shone brightly. This is to say that your appearance before men changes when you spend quality time alone with God; you’ll look younger than your age. At 78, some people still say I’m a handsome young man, lol! I agree because God renews my strength daily as I spend time with Him.

Do you know that when you spend so much time with someone, you will unconsciously learn their mannerisms? You will talk, dress and behave like them. The same happens when you spend time alone with God often, you will look and behave like Him. People will say there’s something about you they cant describe; this is the glory of God. Do you want to have a radiant look? Spend quality time alone constantly with God.
PRAYER POINT:
Lord, please let my life radiate of Your glory.
