4.⁠ ⁠Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had ability in them to stand in the king’s palace, and whom they might teach the learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.

MESSAGE:

One of the best investments you can make is investing in yourself. Self-investment is essential to the growth of a fellow; it is the knowledge gained to equip oneself.

Beloved, there are several ways you can invest in yourself. For instance, while waiting for admission into a higher institution or during holidays, you can learn skills, go to workshops that are related to your field of study or career ambition, and take time to read and digest the word ( Bible). You can also take time to experiment with new hobbies, learn new languages, and explore ways to improve your physical and mental health. As a child of God, you should not waste your time on frivolities; rather, learn new things and equip yourself with the necessary knowledge to make your life’s journey smooth. You can also use your free time to reflect and create a plan for your future. This will help you not to be a liability to your family and society.

My dear child, investing in yourself can open new doors for you and expand your network. Taking on new challenges will help you to grow and become a better version of yourself. To maximise your full potential, you have to be hungry for knowledge.
