READ: Matthew 9:19-22

  1. And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.
  2. And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
  3. For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
  4. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Ezra 3-5, John 20:1-31

MESSAGE:

Sickness is not meant for any child of God. Peradventure sickness occurs, Christ has already made provision for your healing by His stripes on the cross of Calvary. This healing is available to you if you’ve given your life to Jesus. However, when praying for healing, you must have faith.

I remember putting this to test as a young believer. Whenever any of my children fell sick, I would pray for him or her but keep a pill of aspirin or panadol close by in case the healing didn’t come. It continued for a while until God honoured my faith and started healing them instantly without the use of pharmaceutical drugs. Personally, in over 43 years of my walk with God, I’ve had health challenges less than five times. I can boldly say that I am a product of grace and divine health.

Are you ill? Healing is your right as His child; claim it today.

PRAYER POINT:

I command every sickness in my body to leave now. I am healed in the name of Jesus.

HYMN: CHRISTIAN SEEK NOT YET REPOSE

  1. Christian, seek not yet repose,
    Hear thy guardian angel say,
    “Thou art in the midst of foes:
    Watch and pray!
  2. Principalities and powers,
    Mustering their unseen array,
    Wait for thine unguarded hours:
    “Watch and pray!
  3. Gird thy heavenly armour on,
    Wear it every night and day,
    Ambushed lies the evil one:
    “Watch and pray!
  4. Hear the victors who overcame;
    Still they mark each warrior’s way,
    All with one sweet voice exclaim,
    “Watch and pray!
  5. Hear, above all, hear thy Lord,
    Him thou lovest to obey;
    Hide within thy heart His word,
    “Watch and pray!
  6. Watch, as if on that alone
    Hung the issue of the day;
    Pray, that help may be sent down:
    “Watch and pray!”
