BIBLE TEXT: John 14:1-3

1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

MESSAGE:

One thing that fascinates me in the Bible is the description of our mansions in heaven. From our memory verse today, Apostle Paul said that our mansions in heaven are not built with hands. Even the streets of the city in heaven are made of pure and transparent gold (Revelation 21:21).

Imagine how beautiful places like Disney world, Burj Khalifa and many other beautiful tourist sites on the earth are, yet none is as beautiful as God’s throne. How beautiful do you think this throne is? The throne of God is far above the stars. His throne is unseen because it is surrounded by a particular light which is far beyond the sun, moon and stars. Even Paul., when given the opportunity to see heaven, couldn’t describe the place (2 Corinthians 12:1-4).

My beloved child, I have had a glimpse of heaven, and it is too beautiful to be described. You cannot afford to miss it, however, living like Christ on earth is the only passport to get in.

PRAYER POINT:

Father, please help me not to miss heaven in Jesus’ name.

HYMN 12 – Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty!

  1. Holy, Holy, Holy!
    Lord God Almighty!
    Early in the morning
Our song shall rise to thee:
    Holy, holy, holy,
    Merciful and Mighty!
    God in Three Persons,
    Blessed, Trinity!
  2. Holy, Holy, Holy!
    All the saints adore Thee,
    Casting down their golden crowns
    Around the glassy sea:
    Cherubim and seraphim
    Falling down before Thee,
    Which wert and art,
    And evermore shalt be.
  3. Holy, Holy, Holy!
    Though the darkness hide Thee,
Though the eyes of sinful man
    Thy glory may not see
    Only thou art holy:
    There is none beside Thee,
Perfect in power, in love, and purity.
  4. Holy, Holy, Holy!
    Lord God Almighty!
    All thy works shall praise
    Thy name, in earth and sky, and sea;
    Holy, Holy, Holy,
    Merciful and Mighty!
    God in Three Persons,
    Blessed, Trinity!
