TOPIC: He Knows Your End [Open Heaven for Teens 27 May 2023]

MEMORISE: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jeremiah 29:11

READ: Psalms 139:14-17

14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.

16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

17 How precious also are thy thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Job 1-4

MESSAGE

As beautiful as the beginning of your life may be, the end is of great importance to God. While starting a Christian race early is good, God is more interested in how the race will end. Acts 15:18 says, God already knows how you will end your journey right from when you started it. This is because He is the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the Ending (Revelation 1:8).

My child, note that you didn’t come into this world by mistake: God had settled everything about you before the creation of this world. So, nothing about you can take God by surprise. For instance, Jesus knew His own friend would betray him. It was prophesied in the Bible (Psalm 41:9).

God’s word says the first shall be the last, and the last shall be the first. If you are running the Heavenly race well, good, may you never be the last, but if you are not yet on the right Track, you need to surrender your life to Jesus today so that you can start accommodation in Heaven.

ACTION POINT:

Ask for the grace to follow Him steadfastly until the end

HYMN 20 – Ho, My Comrades! See The Signal

  1. Ho, my comrades! see the signal
    Waving in the sky!
    Reinforcements now appearing,
    Victory is nigh!

“Hold the fort, for I am coming,”
Jesus signals still,
Wave the answer back to heaven,
“By Thy grace we will, “

  1. See the mighty host advancing
    Satan leading on:
    Mighty men around us falling,
    Courage almost gone!
  2. See the glorious banner waving!
    Hear the trumpet blow!
In our Leader’s name we’ll triumph
    Over ev’ry foe!
  3. Fierce and long the battle rages,
    But our help is near:
    Onward comes our great commander,
    Cheer, my comrades, cheer!
