TOPIC: Don’t Miss Heaven [Open Heaven for Teens 29 November 2022]

MEMORISE: And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass. Revelation 21:21

READ: John 14:1-3

  1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
  2. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.
  3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: 2 Peter 1:1-21, Ezekiel 41-42

MESSAGE:

Heaven is a beautiful place. You might wonder how I know. The Bible tells us the streets are made of gold, whereas, no street in the world is made of pure gold. Many years ago, I had the privilege of seeing my mansion in Heaven. It was already as big as an entire city, yet it was still being built. I asked the angel taking me on the tour what I would need a mansion that big for and he said there was a room in it for each of my spiritual children whenever they came to visit.

Do you know that the best music is sung in Heaven? If you love music, then you had better not miss Heaven – the angels there have such melodious voices. That’s how we coined the phrase ‘angelic voice’ – their melody and harmony is so beautiful and perfect that when you hear them, you would be awestruck.

Also, in Heaven, there is no heartbreak, pain, sorrow or death. Its fun all the way. Why would one miss such a place? I have decided not miss Heaven; what about you?

REFLECTION

If Christ comes now, will your current lifestyle take you with Him to Heaven?

HYMN: When The Trumpet Of The Lord Shall Sound

  1. When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound
    and time shall be no more,
    And the morning breaks,
    eternal, bright and fair;
    When the saved of earth shall gather
    over on the other shore,
    And the roll is called up yonder,
    I’ll be there.

CHORUS
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder,
When the roll is called up yonder,
I’ll be there.

  1. On that bright and cloudless morning,
    when the dead in Christ shall rise,
    And the glory of his resurrection share;
    When his chosen ones shall gather
    to their home beyond the skies,
    And the roll is called up yonder,
    I’ll be there.
  2. Let us labour for the Master from
    the dawn till setting sun;
    Let us talk of all his wondrous
    love and care.
    Then, when all of life is over,
    and our work on earth is done,
    And the roll is called up yonder,
    I’ll be there.
