TOPIC: The Sovereign God [Open Heaven for Teens 3 July 2023]

2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

MESSAGE

Human beings are limited by resources, time, law, et cetera, but our God is completely unlimited: this is why He is known as the Sovereign God. He has the power to do whatever He likes, however He likes, and whenever He likes.

Our God is sovereign because He can control the past and the future to hasten someone’s miracles. If you’ve had a terrible past, God can turn things around to ensure that they work out for your good.

Our God is sovereign because He can heal the sick as He did with the woman with the issue of blood in Mark 5:25-34.

I remember a young boy who was born with genotype ‘SS. Several blood transfusions had been done, yet his health didn’t improve. His parents brought him to one of the Holy Ghost Services, where God mentioned his case. At the next doctor’s appointment, it was discovered that his genotype had been changed from “SS” to “AA”. It doesn’t matter the circumstance you’re in, I decree that the Sovereign God will sort it out today in Jesus’ name.

ACTION POINT:

For the next 10 minutes, ask the Sovereign God to deal with everything limiting you.
