MEMORISE: Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth; Psalms 105:5
READ: Psalms 105:1-11 (KJV)
- O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
- Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
- Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
- Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
- Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
- O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
- He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
- He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
- Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
- And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
- Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Malachi 1-4, Revelation 22:1-21
MESSAGE:
One thing that constrains God from blessing some of His children is their lack of appreciation for what He already did. For instance, your dad got back from the mall and handed over to you a bag of groceries and another bag of clothes; rather than say thank you, you ran into your room to drop the gifts, then went out to announce to your friends. Telling them may be a testimony but the fact remains that you did not appreciate the giver. This is exactly what many people do before God. They are fast to share their testimonies on social media before thanking God, the miracle worker. You forget that He is the reason your parents still have jobs or are making profit in their businesses to take care of you and sponsor your education.
Learn to appreciate God for the seeming little things and the big things because whatever you thank Him for, will definitely multiply. Thus, thank Him for all the things He did for you throughout this year.
ACTION POINT:
Praise Him throughout today.

HYMN: ALL HAIL THE POWER OF JESUS NAME
- All hail the pow’r of Jesus’ name!
Let angels prostrate fall.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
And crown him Lord of all. - Crown Him, ye martyrs of our God,
Who from His alter call;
Extol the stem of Jesse’s rod,
And crown him Lord of all. - Ye chosen seed of Israel’s race,
A remnant weak and small,
Hail Him who saves you by His grace,
And crown him Lord of all. - Ye Gentile sinners, ne’er forget
the wormwood and the gall;
Go, spread your trophies at His feet,
And crown him Lord of all. - Let every kindred, every tribe,
On this terrestrial ball,
To Him all majesty ascribe,
And crown Him Lord of all. - O that with yonder sacred throng
We at His feet may fall,
Join in the everlasting song,
And crown Him Lord of all.
