MEMORISE: Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. Proverbs 31:30

READ: Proverbs 31:10-13

  1. Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.
  2. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
  3. She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
  4. She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Deuteronomy 5-7; Mark 12:1-44

MESSAGE:

As a first child and daughter, leadership was thrust on me at a very young age. I became responsible for directing and instructing my younger ones and ensured they complied with the instructions of our parents. Little did I know that God was preparing me for a major role of leadership for His kingdom advancement here on earth. I went through many unpleasant experiences that eventually brought my husband and I to the Lord many years ago. As I got deeper in fellowship with God, He dealt with my weaknesses, pruned me, healed me and I started growing in the fruit of the Spirit.

My dear daughter, a virtuous lady is a whole lady (complete package): good morals, wise, domestic, sound and godly. To be a virtuous lady, you need to first allow God into your heart so that He can mold you according to His taste. You also need to take lessons from your mother; learn how to do chores, cook, bake and clean the house. Dont be lazy especially if you live in a house where there are maids, offer to do some chores. Remember, you will not become a virtuous woman suddenly when you get married, you have to grow into it and this is the time to grow. May you become a virtuous lady in Jesus name.

ACTION POINT:

Celebrate all the women you know today with kind words.

HYMN 16: My Faith Looks Up To Thee

  1. My faith looks up to Thee,
    Thou Lamb of Calvary,
    Savior divine!
Now hear me while I pray,
    Take all my guilt away,
Oh, let me from this day
    Be wholly Thine!
  2. May Thy rich grace impart
    Strength to my fainting heart,
    My zeal inspire!
As Thou hast died for me,
Oh, may my love to Thee
    Pure, warm and changeless be,
    A living fire!
  3. While life’s dark maze I tread,
    And griefs around me spread,
    Be Thou my guide; i
    Bid darkness turn to day,
    Wipe sorrow’s tears away,
    Nor let me ever stray
    From Thee aside.
  4. When ends life’s transient dream,
    When death’s cold sullen stream
    Shall o’er me roll;
    Blest Savior, then, in love,
    Fear and distrust remove;
    Oh, bear me safe above,
    A ransomed soul.
