Memorise: Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later. Revelation 1:19
READ: Habakkuk 2:2
2 Then the Lord replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it.
Bible In One Year: Leviticus 7-9; Mathew 25:31-46
MESSAGE:
There is a saying that the pen is mightier than the sword. This is because words that are written are powerful, they can be used to start or end wars that could transcend one generation to another. Also, unlike speech, what is written cannot be easily denied.

When you write, you will have access to details that your memory might not store. Therefore, cultivate the habit of writing things. Write your ideas. Ensure that you always have a pen and notepad with you and if you use an android phone, use your notepad. Keep a journal; write your mistakes in order to avoid their recurrence. Write your goals and visions, so that you can stay focused on them and fulfil purpose. The Bible remains the most powerful change agent because some people got inspired by the Holy Spirit and wrote their accounts. Don’t start your personal devotion without your writing materials. Write whatever God tells you.
Key Point:
Great minds penned down their thoughts: join them by penning yours too.
Hymn 6: Breathe On Me, Breath Of God
- Breathe on me, Breath of God;
Fill me with life anew,
That I may love what Thou dost love,
And do what Thou wouldst do. - Breathe on me, Breath of God:
Until my heart is pure,
Until with Thee I will one will,
To do and to endure. - Breathe on me, Breath of God
Till I am wholly Thine,
Until this earthly part of me
Glows with Thy fire divine. - Breathe on me, Breath of God;
So shall I never die,
But live with Thee the perfect life
Of Thine eternity.
