Topic: God Never Forgets [Open Heavens for Teens 10 July 2019]
Memorise: “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.” – Isaiah 49:15.
Read: Isaiah 49:13-16
13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD hath comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
14 But Zion said, The LORD hath forsaken me, and my Lord hath forgotten me.
15 Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee.
16 Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.
Bible In One Year: Psalm 1-3, Acts 16:1-15
MESSAGE:
God is very busy, but busy as He is, He is incapable of forgetting anything and anyone. So though it may seem sometimes like He dies not have you in mind, don’t worry, He has not forgotten you. It is only your test period, and God is always quiet during such periods.
Abraham, for example, walked for three days to the mountain where he was to bury Isaac, in the way, he must have asked God if He was still interested in Isaac’s blood, but God kept quiet because it was Abraham’s test period.
Has God made any promise to you and it seems like Hr has forgotten? Don’t worry, He has not forgotten. All you have to do is ensure that you continue to do His will; you don’t know which of the wills will unlock the promise. Imagine if Abraham, out of frustration, did not host those angels that day?
Key Point:
God never forgets.

Hymn 2:
1 When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way!
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Chorus:
Trust and obey, for theres no other way
To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.
2 Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
3 Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,
But is blessed if we trust and obey.
4 But we never can prove the delights of His love
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
5 Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;
Never fear, only trust and obey.
