Memorise: “And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” – Revelation 19:16

Read: Acts 16:25-26

25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

Bible In One Year: 2 Chronicles 11-13, John 9:1-23

MESSAGE:

What makes a king different from other people? Although a king look just like any other person, he is not an ordinary person. One differences is that everything he touches becomes unique. One of the titles of our Lord Jesus Christ is ‘King of kings’.

If there is one word that clearly demarcates a king from his subjects, it is the word ‘control’. When the question “who is king?” is asked, what is being indirectly asked is “who is in control?” Unlike the limited spheres of control operated by earthly kings, the King of kings’ domain has no limit. This season, the King of kings will arise on your behalf, He will shake the earth and cause it to give you her increase, and break every evil chain holding you down in Jesus’ name. Cultivate a good relationship with the King of kings today.

Prayer Point:
The heart of kings are in the hands of the King of kings, oh King of kings, influence the hearts of kings to work on my behalf.

Hymn 8:

1 Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.

2 Unresting, unhasting, and silent as light,
Nor wanting, nor wasting, thou rulest in might;
Thy justice like mountains high soaring above,
Thy clouds which are fountains of goodness and love.

3 To all life thou givest to both great and small;
In all life Thou livest, the true life of all;
We blossom and flourish as leaves on the tree,
And wither and perish, but nought changeth Thee.

4 Great Father of Glory, pure Father of Light,
Thine angels adore Thee, all veiling their sight;
All laud we would render; o help us to see;
‘Tis only the splendor of light hideth Thee.

5 Immortal, invisible, God only wise,
In light inaccessible hid from our eyes
Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of days,
Almighty, victorious, Thy great name we praise.
