THE REALITY OF HELL

MEMORY VERSE: “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death” (Revelation 20:14)

TEXT: REVELATION 20:13-14

The Bible is replete with revelations of the realty of Hell. Our Lord, Jesus Christ, the greatest Preacher of all time preached about hell often, contrary to what we find in most modern churches today which have shifted emphasis from holiness to prosperity. Hell is certain for a life that is lived without God. The fact remains that God cannot accommodate sinners in His kingdom because He has made provision for all of us to escape hell and be with Him in His kingdom through the finished work of redemption at the cross.

The moment someone dies in sin, it becomes automatic that the person has booked a permanent place in hell. Living in sin is a gateway to hell.

My friend, there is no way of escape for anyone who dies without Christ. Do you remember the story of the Rich man and Lazarus (Luke16:19-31)? Jesus Christ is the only way of escape from hell. Give your life to Him, today, and heaven will be yours. Have a genuine repentance and turn away from sin. Delay can be very dangerous.
