LOVE THE BROTHERHOOD

MEMORY VERSE: “Honour all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.”

TEXT:1 PETER 2:17-22

“You cannot see brotherhood; neither can you hear it nor taste it. But you can feel it a hundred times a day. It is the pat on the back when things look gloomy. It is the smile of encouragement when the way seems hard. It is the helping hand when the burden becomes unbearable,” says Peter E. Terzick.

There is, therefore, nothing like the bond between, not only people born to the same parents, but anyone you can depend on and do anything for. Additionally, brotherhood means uniting and caring about all of humanity and building them up, while allowing them to lift you up too when you need it.

Brotherhood is a strong bond that unites believers, irrespective of denomination, tribe, sex, race or origin. It involves beliefs, good manners, and treating others the way you would like to be treated. Brotherhood refers to both men and women. Believers are brothers and sisters and owe themselves the responsibility of trust, sincerity, and safety from harming one another. If you are saved, you are in the brotherhood.
